I purchased the 36132-60021 output shaft bearing retainer from Toyota for my '88 FJ-62. Took the old one out, banged in the race into the new retainer then I noticed that the oil seal was way smaller than the opening.... shoot. Anyone know what seal I should use in the new retainer?

You want 90311-48010 to go with the updated retainer.

So I was poking around the FZJ79 world, it looks like it uses the new 36132-60021. But interestingly they list a couple of different oil seals.

90311-48010 where Alibaba states it is Size 46*62*9

Matt, can you measure what you took a picture of? The above matches up with what I measured on mine.

Biggest worry I have is the fact that if I do buy the bigger diameter oil seal, then the inside diameter is bigger too (46 vs. 48 mm) and that's not good as there will be a big gap between the oil seal and the flange companion. ugggg.

Those are the only two versions of the rear output seals.
The companion flange seal diameter is the same on both.
I have used both.
