finally got around to checking. my 75 is on top of the right fender like ming's green on, so was my 69's. my old 71 had it on the right top cowl like my 73 does. my 76 is the only one on the a pillar.

My March 1970 has the hole on the passenger side fender, so there's another penny to toss into the well.

I like my antenna location. The others look too much like an "add on" afterthought.

I bought a replacement ant for my 40 back in 97 or so from RadioShack.
I looks just like the Factory excep the base and guide are chrome instead of plastic. I generally dont like anything that is chromed but this actually looks good. I ll upload a picture later in the week.
