I got my fuel fill hose from a local Marine supply store. Super heavy duty stuff. I think it was something like 1 5/8"

Has any one found a sourse for 5/16 Y barbed fitting for the pump to the main vent hose? I am having a hard time locating one .
Thank you

I had to buy one of the brass tee fittings and then add/screw in the barbed peices as I could not find a one peice block in metal.

Thats all I have found also I would reall y like a Y and not a T one piece.
I will try some more.
Thanks

I looked and looked. Lots of plastic and nylon. I wish you better luck.
Would you like a pic of what I did?

I also looked, and looked... and finally gave up. In the end, I used a common tee fitting, and threaded in separate barbs for the hoses. I didn't really want to have all of those fittings - and potential leak points - but, in the end, it works just fine with no issues.

Hi Ron
What size barbed fitting did you use for the metric breather hose? It seems to be 14mm or about .550 ". So 1/2 is to small and 5/8 is a bit to big I was going to use the 5/8's just wondering what you used?
Thank you for all of your help!! You definatley saved me a lot of time.

Unfotunately, that little tidbit of knowledge is lost :frown: I did not keep all of my original notes on the plumbing like I did on the schematics.

The 14mm hose is actually just a fraction larger than 13mm ID, so the SAE size will be closer to 0.50" than you think. I do recall double clamping the hose to the barb, so it's likely I went to the smaller, rather than the larger size.

I would just take that hose down to the hardware store and fit it with the tightest barb you can find, and put two hose clamps on it for extra measure (prolly overkill).

Glad to be able to contribute. You've got my # if you need anything. ;)

I'm damn interested! Details man, details!

After reading about the double tank I wanted to install one as for me the LX450 has a very short range. I visited quite a few spare parts dealers and came across the parts for mine.

The parts are from a turbo diesel version and all fits quite well I am just going to check the fuel pump as the diesel version has two.

Will post some pictures as soon as I get time to compleat the install.
