Here's the one that I had mentioned that would have been possible with the used, rectangular PIAA's I had posted earlier.

Except you would have to add a (VERY) THICK plate/spacer to make it flush/work with the bumper. I wouldn't be too excited with the idea of them getting disintegrated upon impact in a frontal collision (Not that you wouldn't have better things to worry about.:D)

But for whatever it's worth, there's a picture of it.

OK, so now onto the good (USELESS) stuff....

Ever since I saw that the projector/glass was fogged up I was curious to see how they would (not) perform...

So I had to see how it was (they were).

It seems to have a good/clean cut off, with a slight (YMMV) hot spot in the middle maybe.

I just had one light sitting on the bumper instead of having them securely mounted, so I just picked it up and tried to shine it a bit further down to give me a better idea of what it could (or could not) do.

Top pic: My dog wanted to be a part of the gig. :hillbilly:

Bottom pic: Better representation of the actual color of the light (Changed setting on the camera)

Again, pretty clear cut off which should serve you well in a foul weather, especially with the yellow color.
And it should be plenty bright, especially for a projector, even compared with the conventional fog lights.

Let me know what you think, and also I'd love to have you make offers on them, as well as other lights as well, as I want them sold, not just taking up space in my house. ;)

BTW, the dog is not for sale! :hillbilly:

THANKS AGAIN!!

I've got the above PIAA 950's to go on e-bay later on this evening.

Please watch for it.

You might not want to put on your cruiser, but your wife would appreciate being able to see through rain/snow/fog, etc... in her DD. ;)

BTW, I've set the reserve at $75, so hopefully they'll go!

As always, I would rather somebody from Mud picked them up. So please check them out in less than 12hrs from now!

THANKS!!

I've listed one of the old-school pairs on e-bay.

The set is not complete, but does come with the pull switch. ;)

Hope one of you guys scoop them up!

Listed on e-bay...

Just got these babies listed on e-bay.

These are getting harder to come by! :grinpimp:

So don't let this opportunity slip away. ;)

Thanks for looking!!

Got my bid in MOT, would look good on my new ARB. If I win I'll want the fast shipping.

What do you mean "IF" you win?

I don't like that kind of talk!
Let's be positive and say "When" you win!! ;)

It's a NO RESERVE auction, so you better hope that nobody else will bid and they can be yours for $1, plus the cost of the fast shipping. :hillbilly:

Maybe it was a blessing that you missed it... (You'll know what I mean later...) :grinpimp:

But just in case you won't find my next auction until there's three seconds left, practice on your sniping and fast-typing skills before then! :hillbilly:

Mot-san,
I am trying to source female connectors to match the PIAA's I bought from you in post #338. I plan on making my own harness. A standard H4 connector / socket looks like it will work but I can't find any that have the extra little hole where they will clip in and stay together. All the ones I find online look as if they could come apart with a little pull. If you know of any sources I would appreciate it, otherwise I will end up purchasing a regular H4 socket. All is going well with the Toyota fog lights I bought from you last year.

Randy,

Could you snap a pic and send it my way so I'll know exactly what you're talking about?
Is it something that we would have to ask Piaa about or something that I might be able to pick up from a local automobile store, like the one that we went to???

I've still got the projector set by Piaa, so I might take a look and see if it is something even remotely close as well.

When are you coming back here, bug guy? :hillbilly:

Hope all is well with you, Randy!

Got a pair of fogs listed on e-bay at $1 with no reserve!

I would much rather they went to a fellow Mudder!

They're used but are in very good condition! (Better than they look in the pics. :hillbilly:)

Let me know if I can answer any questions you might have!

THANKS AGAIN!!
