Update

Just wanted to let you know of the ones I have available currently:

Two pairs of the large fogs (one set in yellow brand-new, one set used. one set of clear almost new, one set of clear used).

Both of the yellow fogs come with black covers and both of the clear-type come with chrome covers (They are interchangeable:sp)

Let me know if anyone would be interested in any of these. I was going to ask $225 for the new yellow set (fogs only) and also $225 for the almost-new clear set (with switch and harness).

Since both of the used ones (a set of yellow and a set of clear) have some issues(corrosion), I was going to ask $99 for them. (Was not aware of the spots at the time of purchase; live and learn, eh?) :crybaby:

I will ship them for $30 (slowboat) to anyone, anywhere on the planet. ;) Or I can also do more expensive (and quicker) air for a little more.

Thanks for looking. ;)

Ken,

I'm glad that you approve of my poor picture-taking ability. ;p

And GREAT to hear that you've got the fogs and you like them. Now go and get them installed after getting your taillights done. :D

Thanks again and I'll get in touch with you concerning the other stuff. ;)

About time I chimed in! I got my set of yellow fogs about a month age. They are super bad ass. it really is too bad I wrecked the gay 80 prior to install! They are very nice and exactly as advertised. i think I got them in 3 days or so.

The cool factor is out of this world.

Thanx Mot, if you still have the chrome, clear spots I want em! PM me.

Would those spots on the used yellow ones affect their performance?

I need to go study my rid to see where I can fit them on the ARB, I do want to keep the driving lights I have.

Anyone above that has gotten theirs have a pic of them installed?

Dave,

No kidding about your (not) chiming in! :D

I am REALLY glad that you like them. :crybaby:

The chrome ones you mention, do you mean the ones that are identical to the yellowones you got, except with white/clear lenses and chrome covers, or you mean the multi-reflector kind that I had posted earlier in the thread? (Those are just a little bit smaller than yours, btw). My guess is that you mean the latter. :)

I believe they (both fog types) take the H3-type bulbs and those can be had in yellow or even crystal-ion (pretty much yellow), if you want to change the look of them at some point down the road.

Anyway, let me know which kind you are speaking of. The multi-reflector ones are fogs, not spots, just to clarify.

Thanks again Dave for chiming in.

By the way, I can take PayPal now. ;)

DRT,

Sorry, but the used yellow ones are now sold. :frown: :D ;)

I'm waiting for someone from the board to see if he wants to take the new set (giving him until through the end of the week).

I still have both set of the clear ones!

As far as the spots on the reflectors go, you can sand the spots and paint it silver or and you should not be able to notice any aesthetical(sp) or performance differences day or night since they are very small and are on the very outer edge. I probably would not got them if I had known those spots were there (or would have tried to get them for less).

But those ones I posted yesterday are bigger and should fill your ARB nicer than the multi-reflector ones.

There's a pic of the multi-reflector type installed by lowtops(sp) in this thread, I believe, and also another one by Pimp in a different thread in the 60's or 100's forum.

Here, I found it:

Let me know if I can help you!

Thanks!!

Thanks for the reply Mot. What is the approximate diameter of them. I would definately want black covers. I would consider yellow for or clear driving, but would want the black cover. I could hadle the used price of $100 bucks, but not the $225 for new right now.

I want a driving light, will the clear spots provide a euro beam style light or a different fog pattern. Do you know anyhting about upgrading the bulbs?

Oh, you silly man...

One of the ones I've posted, SO FAR  , are driving/spot lights as I've only posted Toyota's OEM fogs.

If you want driving, then I've got a new set of IPF Superrally 930: driving/spot lenses (220mm x 141mm: real 170/100w butt-spanking halogen bulbs) ;) with switch, harness, etc... in Utah. These should provide ample amount of light for a normal person. ;p

Or if you want something a little more, I also have a used pair of Cibie Super Oscar driving HID's with wireless remote control.

I also have a pair (actually another in UT) of used Hella's driving HID's, too, but am thinking about holding them for myself (along with a new set of them in UT, but don't tell that to my wife. ;) )

Took me a while to find a pic of 930's them installed on the 80, but not a very good one:

Byron,

The multi-reflector's diameter is about 185mm (about 7.28 inches) with the cover on.
The bigger yellow/clear ones are slightly larger (sorry I don' have them her at home for measurement). Again, none of these are driving/spot, but fogs.

wow those suckers are huge. If I didn't already have a set of piaa dual fog/spots that came with the truck I'd be into those.
