would you mind posting a photo perhaps with the toe of a shoe on them for reference?

on a previous Tacoma I had added strips of grip tape to the top of my Shrockworks sliders - could help!

Hopefully this will help. The rock rail doesn't protrude far enough, to be much of a step.

Thanks for the part numbers...am going to remove the rock rails and install this ...am not into rock crawling so don't need these...the rack also is going to be removed, hopefully it reduces the wind noise .

No ‘wheeling’ and main reason for them is kid’s step so what’s wrong with those steps? It certainly doesn’t sound like you need sliders at all.
I simply do not like the way the predator steps look.

I can tell he doesnt have young kids; kids and big, metal, pointy things that stick out do not mix well.

Thanks for starting the thread because I'm looking to do the same. I'll buy the parts listed or look for someone with takeoffs.

Posted on the part number thread but wanted to re-post here:

Request: I am looking for the part number for the factory weld-nut clips/plugs for Predator Step delete. I think there are 6-8 per side? Perhaps a M8 bolt?

I understand there are threads on other Toyota forums, and perhaps the part is the same (as well as suggestions to just teflon tape the bolts and reinstall).

However - I would just like to confirm the part # from a LC250 part schematic. Thanks!

Showing this part # for the bolts. Do not see any plugs for the threaded holes.

90119-08D21 or the new # 90119-A0514

Thanks!

Based on that info would I be correct to assume that a LC250 without any steps/sliders would have bolts installed in these holes? As opposed to clips/plugs?

Yes. There are bolts in mine, at least.

Thanks!

Very pricey. I would keep an eye out for someone selling a pair that they removed. There will be some who remove the running boards for sliders.
Well that’s what I’m doing. I’ll have my take off running boards available in Colorado Springs.
