You can get a Bluetooth OBDII adapter and then get a free app to utilize it. Torque has been popular in the past but I use Car Scanner these days. That has worked for everything I want.
OBD Fusion
Carista module works great with their free app for basic code reading & clearing, and the temp paid app upgrade can program TPMS IDs into your car when needed.
Also works with the awesome OBDfusion app for more powerful diagnostics and a slick customizable dashboard you display on a mobile phone or tablet while on the road.. things like monitoring trans temps closely while towing, for instance.

This is what I have been using - highly recommend.
I originally had the Carista dongle, but was experiencing periodic difficulty syncing with the OBD Fusion App. After switching to the newer Carista Evo dongle (find it here on Amazon: Carista Evo), the syncing has been flawless.

Yeah, I also had the old one before the EVO. The original was about as fast as a glacier and beyond just taking forever to do anything with the app I believe this did contribute to some connectivity issues. The updated one has been great for me too.
