These O2 fans are great... They run on D batteries or via 12v direct from a cig/aux plug (etc) or even with a 120 to 12v adapter/charger. The only issue I have is that the low speed is still a little too fast and noisy for night time/sleeping (for me anyway).
So... I added a speed controller into the power circuit to the motor. Now I can dial down the speed to super slow and essentially silent... Just a light breeze. Cheap and easy.
