Hello Sir, can you tell me the total length of the setup? Know offhand if it'll fit in a Chevota? Thanks

I dont know off the top of my head, but i will measure it up and get back to you tomorrow. the only issue I see you running into is whether or not the shifter comes up in the same location as your current transmission or further back, and your drivelines may need to be shortened/lengthened.

Yes, It would definitely be far from a bolt-in, and just might be too long for the 40. Please get me a measurement from the front of the bell housing to where the shifters come up, and also the total length. And put me in line while I do some research, if you could :) Thanks dude.

I have this very same arrangement behind a '99 350 Chevy in my 1975 FJ40 I DID NOT do this myself, done in Portland OR by a professional shop for the previous owner. Very clean, no issues in 8 years (about 15K miles) If you have questions, send me a PM and we can start talking.

Thanks a lot for the offer Centerline! Nice of you to offer.
I think I'm going to skip this upgrade for now. I'd love to install it but am now working on other stuff.

I’m interested in this setup and seeing photos of driveline and where shifters end up. Wonder how the firewall looks.
I’ll send a pm

Exactly what I'm looking for...just on wrong coast :(.

I can maybe help out a bit, I put this same combo in my FJ60. Here's a pic of my NV4500 and splitcase assembled with Georg's twin stick setup as an example of what the finished product looks like.

I have that set up in my FJ45, so depending on placement of the V-8 to the fan it's likely only a few inches longer than stock, the main difficulty I have is that its hard to put the combo into the bellhousing without separating them. But I don't have a lift so I'm just using a tranny jack
