Hey all, just wanted to introduce myself. Last summer I picked up a 1990 4x4 PU 22RE around 145k on the ticker. Its my daily driver, so no serious mods yet. I've been lurking around here for a while picking up tips. Hopefully my cash flow will increase this year to the point where I can start ripping into this truck.
My car affair started on my 15th b-day when I recieved a 68 VW bug(really rough shape). I spent the next 2 years restoring and learning. A couple years later I came across a 69 Karmann Ghia coupe, same deal, needed lots of work. That one is still under construction (5 years later)... my dad has taken over and he works a little slower
. So I do know what I'm getting myself into with this truck.
As soon as I can get myself set up with a 2 car garage, I'm going to be in the market for a 73-80 FJ40. Looks like I've got a lot of reading to do...
