NEW MILITARY EVACUATION BAG CASUALTY SURPLUS SLEEPING - eBay (item 320442080645 end time Nov-28-09 06:36:11 PST)

not affiliated with it but I bought 2 of these about a year ago and just slept in mine about 2 weeks ago and it is so warm and roomy, very large for it is meant for military casualaties with all thier clothing on, very wide, very tall/ height and long, super warm and thick, many heavy duty zippers so that a medic could check diff areas of patient while still keeping other parts warm and zipped up. down and poly filled with artic hood which totally zips up to cross the neck. I cant say enough about the roominess about mine and absolutley love it besides its size and weight which is 18lbs. heavy duty straps and nylon/ canvas bottom panel along with a nylon rubberized waterproof liner. If you live in a cold a** climate then this would be a great bag if you can deal with its size. Here are pics of mine.

Nice..

I'll have to keep that in mind, if I ever get drawn for a cold country hunt again..

he knows how much these were initially to the govt in which he is going to respond back to be for I am interested to know how much. I did pay $90 a piece for mine new from a surplus shop but I am sure these cost at least $500 to the govt? I have the 4 peice military systems as well and have used them many times in the cold and love them too but they are mummy shaped which I cant stand for very hard to toss and turn in those, but very warm

If you run any deals on the old surplus goose down mummy bags post 'em up!

I loved the one I used to have, even got used to the "snug as a bug" claustrophobic feel about them.

Why does one of them look cut?

? Mine are brand new no cuts? they have been rolled up with its straps, in one of the pics I have it zipped down about half way and then folded the top portion down. That guy on ebay says he bought a crate of 15 of these.
