Well...I've booked the time off work for the last few years, and never been able to pull the trigger. Maybe this year:-)

What's the route plan? Ya'll can make your way here on day one for a stayover/visit, then kick my ass into the truck in the AM for the next leg...

I'll have to be a good boy in the mean time so I can afford the time and gas come November.

The little man my hatch-hole it itching to get out and explore more of the world. ;) (hmmm. wonder who will follow that reference?)

I think the rubicon stuff was really just wishing, I think all said and done it will probably turn into a drive all day thurs, friday, do up SNT, then head home monday tuesday. But I will see later exactly.

My plans depend on Bruce. If he's leaving Random in Vegas then maybe he can fly out to Abbotsford to hook up with Greg and join the convoy as we head down from the N. Not sure if that works out at all for Rockdoc though... But then if I have to take Bruce to Vegas then that doesn't really work. I dunno yet.

Don't worry about me. If you head through this way, I'll join up, if not, I'll meet up in Kamloops or what-have-you. Hell, if Bruce flies down, and you need a seat, I doubt I can find anyone more inappropriate to ride with me. I don't mind the ass-stamper either.

Straight south trip from PG would be the best for us, but we are nothing if not adaptable. It would be very cool to convoy
down.
I'll be taking 2 weeks off so the timetable is also adaptable.

Y'all can crash here if you get a late start out of the Peace Country.

Hey Ratpuke, I'm gonna need a sticker for the new ride, don't send it, just bring it with you, thanks.

Dave

okily....

Rumor has it someone borrowed $40 from it!

I actually put the 40 back and stole $5 instead. Had to buy myself a drink. Anyway, I have to figure out the dues (Gladly is gonna kill me soon), mail some Trails (...real soon), contact Mr. Button and then contact some dudes in Calgary.

Oh. And to answer your question Curtis, the flag fund is now up to $101 (inclusive of the 5$ I borrowed). We would have more but some meek willed Bronco bastards stole our barrel and alas, we no longer have a place to collect the cans.

Having the barrel is poor consolation for having to wheel a Bronco.

Howdy Stranger. Hope all is well. Will be great to see you again!!

I can either fly to Vegas to pick up my truck or ride down with Marc and Peter. If y'all are heading down the I-5 (God help you) I'll meet you at the beach.

But, part of the reason I'm taking this holiday is to hang with you. :crybaby:

Ya, the I5 is a lovely grind; just did it. Had hoped to have time to tootle up the Oregon Coast but it was not too be. Anyway...got a place to crash for sure for anyone heading down, and open seats if my own plans work out. Always open to interesting options for routes. Have more days on the before side then the after side.

Resurrection of the old crew for pics at the beach?

We're open to the circle route as long as I can get 2hrs roaming around Cabela's in SLC.
Not enough time I know but I'll take it:grinpimp:
Good place to stop for food too!
