Looking for some support on an electrical issue. I had a post up here awhile ago led me to think it was the starter motor have someone who knows electrics looking at it. However I wanted to know if anyone thought it migh be what my non electrical head thinks it might be. Grounds are good, batteries are good, but when I went to start up after a month of being away, nothing. when I turn the key to the position just before ignition the fuel light below on the right does not come on, when I then proceed to turn but there is nothing at all. I know the system has power to a degree as my glow light on the left comes on at the push of the button, also head lights work. I am thinking it mey be the starter relay? When I checked under the hood the Edic arm was extented in the fuel cut off position, took the arm off, forward lever will move by hand fore and aft, the lever near the firewall ontop of the EDIC unit seems stuck in the fuel cut off position, very stuck....would this be connected with the starter relay electics and as it is stuck in "cut off" disable the connection needed for ignition?

Looking for insight.

But how much power? Until your 100% sure the battery(s) is fully charged its pointless going any further.
It was working fine up to the point you went away
Can you roll or push start it?Can you try another battery ?

Thanks for the thoughts guys. Batteries are two months new, and read 12.6, so I really don't think they are the source of the problem. I want to know if its normal that the lever that controls the EDIC arm near the firewall won't move at all manually. It is jammed in the forward cut fuel position, and I am assuming seized in this position since the last start up. I want to know if anyone knows if this would inhibit electrical contact needed for ignition? Was about to take off the EDIC and try and free up the lever but thought I should get some Mud advice first, as I have regretted not doing so in the past. regards J

Had EDIC problems prior to this, so am very familiarized with the click-clock sound from near the glove box. So no, no sound, no nothing with the current problem. Any thoughts on what the implications would be of the lever that controls the EDIC arm being jammed in "fuel cut off"position?? If anyone reads this and is running a 3B would appreciate it if they pop off their EDIC arm near the firewall and tell me if they can move the lever fore and aft manually. Amgetting more and more tempted to tear that unit out.

J
