Hey all. I’m considering selling my sweet little 78 fj40 that now lives in salt lake city. Had it for nearly a decade and I’m the third owner. Mostly original with some fun quirky stuff and as expected a significant bit of back end rust. I wanted to reach out here not to solicit offers but to get a more honest review of what it might be worth. I’d love to sell it to someone who will love it since I’m going to miss it, but I do not think I can find space at our new house to store or work on it so it really should love on. I can post more specific photos of anything people would want to see to give me a rough estimate of what I should list it for and appreciate anyone who has the time to chime in. Drove this with some of you all at SAS #2 a while back now. Wish I had gotten to do a few more of those!
Engine rebuilt roughly 16k ago, runs as it always had since I’ve had it, needs an oil change, has a big extra 16gal gas tank for longer drives, tires are 5-6 years old with maybe 2k miles in them. I’ll get video and photos inside and under this evening.
