are you truck together for wheeling this weekend with the "s***-acane" crew up island?? i was thinking of dropping by, haven't seen some of those guys in a while!!LOL

Hell ya! It should be a good one.

ahem, stringers run fore and aft, don't make me pull athwartships outta my thesaurus...:flipoff2:

looks good mark, I'm guessing I screwed the pooch long enough that you don't need those w/s hinges anymore?

Give me a shout if you head up this way dan, my house is being invaded by a bunch of drunken broads, so I'm being temporarily evicted...

I still need those hinges so I can take the windshield off and slip them in there as spacers so everything lines up. I'll have to grab them by next weekend.

Ahem, ahem... My vehicle, as well as Mr.Flyinglow's spends more time on-shore than in the ocean, and he's not building a hull-less boat:flipoff2: so i'm going to opt for the much more approriate term of "stringer" being used in a mechanical/architectural application from my old "statics & dynamics" classes refering to a horizontal member connecting/supporting two points! And Mr.Thesaurus would prove you right, but NOT correct for this application!! :hillbilly: Mmmm...beer for breakfast... And yeah i'll call you if i head up that way.
End of hijack, more pics Mark!

Uh, I gotta agree with the spud Dan, stringers in a helicopter run fore and aft too...

perhaps it's just something lost in the translation....

merde being poo, and zoot meaning, "I want to slap you but I need to adjust my thong first....":f

and hey steven, I'm going to give mark your w/s hinges unless you say I can't...

well i guess it has been lost in translation cause both you H*&os are thinking the same thing, still the wrong application... i never did understand you copter and sailer type guys anyhow, but you're still wrong!! You're building a truck for fxxx sakes.LOL...
Looks like i'm putting shingles on the farmhouse this weekend anyhow... :censor:

aww shingles, what fun. I'm going to do the rear brakes and bearings on the 42 this am, before I get booted to the curb for the evening. also fun...

Can't find my damn impact screwdriver to get those hinges off, but I may pull the glass out of the frame ( because sure as hell if I don't I'll slip with the hammer or something stupid) and just do some snipping

if I get them out I can drop them off one day this week, or I can leave them outside for you

(btw, still ain't gonna agree on the stringer thing...did a quick google, and jeez, only FOUR of the Six definitions agreed with mark and I....:flipoff2: other two were metal slag, and some kinda news reporter.)

Mark- those stringers that run fore and aft of your bow are they for rollover protection or to add support for your push bar or both?

They are for side impact and to protect cowl. Gotta rub something on the trees... I do hate them.

cut them off at the pin... i just need the lower half. It would be great if you could drop them off. Email me about that.

dropped them off, I put them in your spare 40 tub.

Your wife was kinda giving me the hairy eyeball out the window, so I waved, hoping that would make me look a bit less disreputable...

Right on, thanks. Wifey never mentioned it to me so you must not have looked to disreputable... I'm sure the waving helped!

if she is anything like my wife she probably thought you were removing extra cruiser parts and was happy. suprised she didn't offer to help remove parts off the property .:flipoff2:

Ya she was probably hoping he'd come to the door and offer money for the tub!
