So I got really lucky while hunting and found what looks like the last NOS, in-bag pedal bell-crank. This isn't a very known item, but its Toyota's answer to converting the common Fj60 pedal linkage to a throttle cable found on 2H, 12HT, 1HZ or anything else with a throttle cable, no cutting, welding, trimming or hacking up pedals. This mounts where the factory mechanical linkage bracket is on the firewall - direct replacement. Includes the NOS bell-crank and the very long link from pedal to bell crank (used but nice shape). See reference picture below for clarity. I bought this anticipating a diesel swap in my 60, but it is gone now.

I did! Now just have the 40 that is getting a 12ht. Sorta wish I could've put the 12ht in the 60 - but one likely wouldn't have happened without the other.

Find someone parting out a bj60/hj60, that's your best option now. Maybe cruiserparts? They have it on their site, not sure if they have available.
