NOOB Center Locking Diff Question (1 Viewer)

I removed the plug in low and installed the switch. Still have ability to unlock center diff in low. I never bothered with the pin mod.

My understanding of pin 7 mod is that some people think it adjusts the shift points. It has no effect on whether or not the center diff locks in low.

Opposite is true. Pin 7 mod does not affect transmission shifting. All it does is prevent auto locking of center diff when transfer case is shifted into low range.
