Is a 1992 4runner SR5/V6/5 speed with 64K original miles (I personally carfaxed it & checked w/toyota, its real) worth $5K?

It needs immediately needs new tires & timing belt change (original) also, - front pass window doesn't work , pwr antenna shot, muffler & tail pipe back from muffler needs replaced, AC doesn't work & don't know why & some other nick-nack stuff.

Over all body is in excellent shape for age, paint 7/8 out of 10 & all else original.

Any info is good - old Jeep guy, new to Toyotas

Seems a little steep to me. Guess it depends what area your in. We just took in a 95 with 95k miles on it,Limited, leather, sunroof, original owner,as a clunker deal. Thought about keepin it to put on the lot,or lettin a wholesaler buy it. Wholesaler only bid $3k on it. Everything on it worked.Needed no repairs. Figured it might bring $6k but let go to clunkerville.

NO WAY....that totally built and absolutely perfect 4-runner went for 6K on here a few weeks ago. I put a rebuilt engine in mine brand new tires everything worked, and it didnt' have a speck of dirt or a dent and I only got 2800 for it. OUT OF THEIR MIND.

yeah its a bit much Although the miles are low..
I got mine for 3k, and mines 4x4 4cyl. Without a list of problems.

Id offer would not pay more that 3k. especially cause its a V6 and I have heard the head gaskets tend to be a weak point.

Thanks for the input guys, I offered $4K & was turned down. I walked away from the deal - just too much to do to it right off the bat, even if I did it all myself (which I probably would).

I'm trying to unload the projects, currently have a fairly rusty but running/drivable 83 FJ60, 82 FSJ Cherokee Laredo 4dr & 82 FSJ Cherokee 2dr W/T Laredo - All are for sale if anyone wants them
