I would like to do a "Eatin" trip. Was watching a show the other day and several of the resturants they featured were in N. Miss and Memphis. I think it would be fun to take a weekend road trip to sample some of the eats in the Delta and the Memphis area. We could camp along the way at some state parks to save some $ if yall like. Nolen knows where every resurant in America is so maybe he could help with the planning. Chris likes to eat so maybe he know's some of the more famous dives. What do yall say? Could be a lot of fun!

I'm ready but your a couple of months late. UTBT 08 in Memphis was a muddin wheelin feedin drinkin expedition to some of the FINEST areas of Memfica.
 
I'm not talking about any wheelin'. I just want to eat! Greg has been wanting to do a tour through the Delta for a while and we could do that as well. We just need someone to plan it.

The best eatin in the US is south of you in dirty NOLA.

Now that is a place that you can "eat and drink" through.

I be honest all we have here in Memphis is BBQ and I would wait until BBQ fest in May.

Cam maybe a UTBT in May. s*** lets do it .25ly.

Hell Cam can cook up them ribs year around I bet and I am sure that place up there makes cracksalad year round.

This was origionaly mr and mrs clutchee's idea.

Ground zero always has something going on.
If you want to drop some real coin you can eat at Madidi

I think one idea of Brian and Ashley's was to stay at the Shack up Inn. We could talk to them and see if there is room for some folks to camp anywhere nearby, while others stay at the B&B (Bed and Beer).

There's lots of good info on the Cat Head website.

There's alway's Does eat place for tamalles. My last trip up there was by myself. I ate the slopiest yummiest roast beef poyboy I've ever had outside of NoLa. Bought it at a gas station that was out of gas.

I'm going to talk to Davis about this idea. We might could make a trip to his farm as part of the tour.
 
The Bourbon Mall in Bourbon, MS has great steaks and deep fried tamalles. Bourbon is a suburb of Tribbet. Fratezies has the best Philly Cheese steak sandwich in the southeast. Fratezies is a Phillips 66 on 82 outside of Leland. At night it turns into a self serve bar.

That sounds like a fun time and all....but when is the next wheeln' trip? I got the fever!!!!! I dont think I can wait till March!
 
There is a place in Memphis that does deep fried hamburgers isn't there? Also the Hollywood in Tunica I think. The program I saw was named "Everything's Fried" I think.
