Hi everyone.

So I got myself a used non-US distributor 19100-61080 and need the distributor shaft o-ring. I would think the o-ring would be the same for all years FJ40 but the net (Toyota Parts Dealers) leads me to believe otherwise when I put different years of FJ40.

This distributor is going into a '78 block. Anyone know which o-ring part # I can use?

Thanks in advance.

Just replaced an o-ring on a FJ60 big cap dissy. I have a couple basic O-ring kits(metric & SAE) I ordered from Summit. A SAE #211 was the best fit I had on hand. I.D 13/16” O.D. 1 1/16” thickness 1/8”.

Not sure if the o-ring on my 61080 is OEM, but again the SAE #211 is the closest match and a good fit.

Here’s what came on it. Bought it used

SAE kit. Not very often do I use these kits, but when I do boy am I thankful I pulled the trigger on both:)

Here’s a SAE #211 I just now slipped on. I think this can be stabbed in an engine without profanity.:hillbilly: The key is thickness. My metric kit o-ring’s are either too thin or too thick.

Coolness!

Thanks for all the info and pictures and my used o-ring also looks like that.

Also, O'Reilly shows that they have that o-ring in stock.

Really, really appreciate it Bigredrocker.
