Noise From Bell Housing A442

Hi All - replacing my engine mounts I’ve stupidly jacked up my engine on the cover plate to the bell housing. It’s a A442 gearbox, I’m hoping I can just get a new plate but there is also quite a bit of noise coming from the housing, not sure how much is normal, before the jack exposed the area it was insulated and covered with the plate. Any help is appreciated

I think you would need to drop the trans to replace that plate
can you just bend it back into shape? using pliers, crescent wrenches and pry bars
it may be bent in enough to rub on the flywheel, hence the noise
