No Stamped VIN??

Hi all, I don't believe I have a stamped VIN in my chassis. I had assumed that all North American 80 Series had one, but mine is blank...Is this possible, and even common to a certain degree? Any theories? Thanks. View attachment 3763877View attachment 3763878

Chase off the paint with a wire wheel and see if its been filled in.
POR-15 can be pretty thick.

Will do, thanks. But it doesn't look promising. As far as I can tell the black paint in the photo is the factory one.

If it was a replacement OEM frame it would not have a VIN etched in. A possibility.
