Recently got a new car as my DD so my 2008 LC will probably go undriven for stretches at a time between adventures. From a mechanical standpoint should I still take it for a drive every so often to keep everything humming along?

Recently got a new car as my DD so my 2008 LC will probably go undriven for stretches at a time between adventures. From a mechanical standpoint should I still take it for a drive every so often to keep everything humming along?

Yes, I would try to drive it once a week if possible. That is what I do with my vehicles, my non-DD I drive to the office once a week to get a full heat cycle into it, roughly 30 min drive each way. Max I would let it sit would be two weeks on a regular basis.

This recommendation has no scientific background, just what I would do.

Box it up in cedar and ship it to my "storage facility" in Moab. I'll take real good care of it.
