No heat

New head, cam , timing set, new Radiator, new water pump. Core flows water like it should as does the water valve also the fan blows like it should, But no heat at all. What gives? Also I burped the system still no heat , I replaced the heater core about 1-1/2 yrs ago.

Any help is much appreciated.

I would pull the return hose and put it into a bucket (cap the other side of where you pull it off) and see if you really are getting coolant through it.

I ran that test already it flows when the cap is off and slows when the cap is on. At least that what happend when I pulled the return and let it run.

I'm assuming the heater worked fine before the work right?

That's a good trick. There is a thermostat install correct?
