I ordered a horn relay from VintageTEqParts.com a week ago as I have seen him advertise in threads through the years. I noticed it still hasn't shipped and emailed Matt through his website yesterday. I know it's only a week out, but I'm getting a little concerned as I didn't know there's so many threads in this section about him until I started researching this morning. I noticed the relay is now showing out of stock. Makes me wonder if maybe he just doesn't have it and is waiting on stock. Weird that people can run a business and be so lacking in communication, but that seems the norm for him after reading through threads. He's quick to advertise, post, and be all over Mud, but can't seem to run his business efficiently. I am in sales and could not imagine not being timely with customers. I understand he's a one man show, but the lack of communication is frustrating and concerning. Matt has already lost my future business, but any suggestions on next steps from people with similar issues? Thank you.

BRO!!
Your super late to the party. Matt's ship had left yrs ago. Lots of red flag warnings on this forum about him. Sorry to say but he checked out...next time research businesses on "buyer beware".

One of MANY threads:

Thread 'Where’s toyotamatt?' Where’s toyotamatt? - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/wheres-toyotamatt.1342442/
Yeah, already saw that thread after ordering. Don’t hang out here all the time, so wasn’t aware. He seems like a huge scammer. Lesson learned.

You may or may not get your part, but it won't be in a timely manner. If you are in sales, it's going to be quite frustrating.

Dealt with Matt on several occasions in past, most of time it worked out but the last year or two it wasn't good at all for many here.

Keep blowing him up with message or get your CC charge back and look somewhere else.

Yeah, I’m not going to be patient or waste any time with him. If I would’ve seen these Bad Seller threads before, I would have never ordered. Already submitted a charge back.

He probably never had it to begin with.

It takes all of 2 minutes to ship an order, contact him and tell him he has 48 hours to send you an ACTIVE tracking number otherwise you will be disputing the charge. If he has the part you'll get a tracking, if you don't then you'll know he doesn't and you were never going to get the part anyway. Well maybe you would have when he finally found one to ship to you, maybe.
