I had the opportunity to participate in the Alaska Cruiser Trek 2010.

It was nice to meet RatPuke for the first time and it was good to see RockDoc and Deny once again. Jim does not talk alot.

On the way back to the lower 48, I met with Howard and Deny for dinner at Mr. Mikes. After Deny bought us dinner (Thank You) they checked over my rig. Deny noticed I was missing a chunk from my tire on my trailer.

I decided to go to Ratpukes to change the tire since it was just up the road. I parked up in the driveway and changed the tire and decided to repack the wheel bearings. I found a broken brake assy on the trailer. Everybody was closed so I spent the night.

Thank for the use of the couch RatPuke, even though you and RockDoc were still Treking in Ankorage!

Nice, glad you made it home. Been there once when I blew my rear trailer tire when towing my wagon home last christmas, not fun changing the tire on the side of the highway, then stopping at every tire shop to finally find a Canadain tire that was open on Sunday to help me out.

Cheers,
Deny

Were you there thursday night? I was gonna stay in FSJ but ended up in Chetwynd, would have liked to see your truck in person.....oh well.

Dan! Why did you sleep on the couch when there were 3 beds you could've used??? Anyway, glad to be of some assistance but I wish I could've been there to help you out more.

I spotted the yellow Cruiser at Tim Horton's a week or so before I left for ACT and wondered who it belonged to.

Would you be able to PM me your addy? ;)

It was GREAT to finally meet you and I know that we'll be wheeling more together down the trail (wherever it may be).

Thanks...

C.
