Selling the pig.....

SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to the Fall Gathering last weekend and my beautiful pig sat in the campground all weekend. Basically I didn't want to scratch it up on the trails. I've decided I want more of a trail rig than a show type rig.

I was thinking of putting sliders on it and doing it up a bit but everyone last weekend complemented me on how clean and straight it was. It would really be a shame to destroy basically perfect sheet metal especially on an FJ55. I'd rather sell it and get something already modded a bit. Pigs are rare in the is condition so killing one for my own pleasure is too much for my conscience to handle.

UPDATE: I've agreed to buy another cruiser but gotta sell this one first.

1979 Aussie Pig
Good:
Runs on gasoline or propane
perfectly straight
no rust underneath
Brand new exhaust
New 31" Kumho A/T's
Very quiet interior when driving- sound deadened floors
very small bubble spot the size of a half dollar on the rear just above the bumper
frame on resto work done by PO with help of a friend who is a professional "panel beater" bodywork guy
New brakes and wheel cylinders all around
Original Air Conditioning (needs recharge)
Glass perfect
rustproofed inside of doors and floors
zero rot on the floorboards
drives straight
runs well
new dash cover (didn't really need it though)
Everything works
Fires up easily every time
Gutters are perfect
Zero dents
Back seat excellent shape
Original jack and tools
Original dealer brochure

Bad:
afore mentioned rust spot
some small chips on paint
2 cylinders have lower compression but is probably the valve seats. Not noticeable while driving but does stink a bit out of the tailpipe. DOES NOT SMOKE!
Front seats have rips
Cracked door handle on drivers inside. Works though.

I drove it 400 miles last weekend and runs as good as my DD. It does mark it's territory a bit when stopped but very little. It runs excellent and is a beautiful example of a pig. it would cost tens of thousands of dollars to get the body to this condition.

I had countless complements this past weekend so I know there is someone out there who will love this beast. Yankee Toys people can attest to the condition

My CEO is also pregnant. She's doesn't like riding in anything but her Volvo SUV anyway so once there are 2 kids in the picture this Pig will never leave the garage. I'm going to buy one last toy with the $$$ and hold onto it for dear life!!!

Asking $8000 or BEST OFFER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. This is what I have invested in it. I've found a built 40 locally that I'm interested in grabbing.

Gonna miss that porker but I'm not mature enough to handle such responsibility and power. I am only a human.

Grabbing it prolly on Saturday. Nice original softtop model with sliders and swampers.
