Thanks, should be fun once we're in....biggest issue is being homeless for 5 days. I'm running out of trailers to borrow and storage space....:bang:

We'll have a pissup at some point, maybe after we've both slept for a month....:lol::beer:

yeah, we came into sidney for a day to load up for supplies for heading out to the middle of the Pacific Ocean, I was able to be off shift at the time and headed into town. Only to be thwarted by full batteries and a starter that wont engage. Luckily I had just given my dad a tour of the engine room and he was still around to help push the cruiser to start. Got the machine running, went into sidney, parked on a hill and went in to shop.

Came out to the car, got it ready to jump start and when I did, turned the key and the starter jammed on! No fire, but melted the driver side positive terminal into a puddle of lead. :bang:

So now coming back off the ship on the 23rd in sidney to that fantastic clusterfxxx, may not be able to make the meetup. But hopefully John at Radd will be able to help out with sending down some copper contacts and a new plunger for the starter.. I just hope it didnt explode..:(

Just had my starter rebuild by BRAE. Same day service, great customer service. Good service all around. Have also had 3 alternators done. My dad goes there for all his as well. I wouldn't go anywhere else to be honest

I love radd, but it's just a starter, you'd be better off going to a starter specialist. They also know there are 24v and 12v cruisers so no worries there

I just may be able to make this one...not 100% sure, but I'll do my best. Crazy busy but being that it's at the Cobblestone means I just might be able to sneak away.
