Next meeting is Thursday March 26th, 7pm at the 6 Mile Pub in Colwood. If that is not a good day for you guys, let me know what would be better next week.

Items for Discussion: Membership, stickers, filling vacant club executive positions (vice-president and secretary), club cash and records. I'm hoping to have a look at the finances before then and produce a report.

Had a good meet last night. In attendance we had Graham (Gsb15) with guest, Jordan (Sweatyforehead), Lachlan (franken60), Kiersten (wussyPup), and myself (GTSSportCoupe). Along with the usual banter, we formalized the membership of Graham, Jordan and Lachlan (all under my nomination as regular participants of the club). Following this, I nominated Graham as Vice President, we voted on this with 100% in favor. Graham has been one of the most active members of the club, and has constructively participated in basically all the meetings and events of the past year. I look forward to working with him to further build up the club and plan future events. Club stickers were distributed to the new members.

Edit: I forgot to mention, but thank-you to the 6-mile Pub for the free round of beers!!! The owner is a Range Rover Defender owner, and has noticed that the Land Cruiser club has been meeting regularly at his pub. He bought us a round!!:beer:

Nice work guys. It's nice to see the club in good hands.

Last few presidents have kind sucked. Lol

Thanks Cam. And you did an awesome job btw. You are missed. Looking forward to you finding your dream cruiser and getting back into it. :)

Thanks Nick. Life went and got all busy on me.

I'm sure the addiction will flare up again, I've never been good a quitting stuff.

this is making me really wished i'd come... stickers, beer, sounds better than our victoriabluegrass.ca board meetings..
but stuff indeed happened (Our Landloard, a car collector himself, with a 1985 Caddie, and a neighbourhood owned 60's - something - family sedan, commonly used for cop cars in the era, both fully restored and stored away, taken out for bi-annual meets. well, Jim, he past last morning. he was in rough shape in the hospital, but it was unexpected, real sad. Needed some out of the house time with my partner..

I'm looking forward to meeting up and maybe we can get a bluegrass band up there next month.
(music usually means more free beer!)

PS. i think i want to go from an 80, back in time - maybe to that 60 that just came on used Vic./
