Hi to all of you!
My name is Marc and I'm located in Germany. I'm 29 and live for my Yotas! A friend here in Germany who is a member of TLCA told my about your forum. Yesterday I also subscribed at TLCA.
Here in Europe I drive a lot of competitions in my completely self build 83 Hilux which originally came from Califorina in 1990. (At least it's a Toyota Minitruck then, but it's the same like a Hilux)
It came with a 2.4 22R, P/S, A/C, and short bed.
But there are only a handful of stock parts left on it by now.
The mods I did are:
-3.4 5VZ-FE with TRD S/C, downey headers, custom exhaust
-Landcruiser LJ70 Tranny and T-case (soon Automatic)
-Coil spring suspension with LJ70 and 4Runner parts, TJM/Eibach spings
-Volvo C303 Portals with 5.96:1 ratio, home made Disk brake conversion
-home made 9.5x16" rims with 36x12.5-16 Simex Extreme Tracker 2
- full rollcage, TJM bumper
-front winch is a PTO- operated Unimog agricultural winch (which pulls as fast as the truck drives if I want)
-additional 8274 with a 9.5XP motor in front
-rear winch is a 9.5XP, which can also be used as top winch
-and lots of additional things which were necessary to get it running.
I own it now for about 4years and I build as it is now during the winter of 2005/2006.
If you like to see some pics of the buildup, look here:

The second rig I work on is my wifes 94 Turbo Diesel 4Runner.
At the moment it has a 2" lift, TJM bull bal, 25galon auxilary fuel cell, 33" Yokohama MT on Alcoa rims, Intercooled engine with about 160HP and lots of other small upgrades. During the time I don't work on the Hilux I am collecting parts for a SAS swap and axle upgrade with FZJ80/4Runner hybrid rear axle with 4.88 gears and ARB, 80 series front axle also with ARB and 4.88 gears, 10" Coil overs in front and 4" custom rear Eibach spings with superflex joints,....
This days I build a new rear bumper with spare carrier which will look a Slee 100 Series one.
In the next summer we plan to bring the 4Runner to the US for a nice 6week vacation and a well prepared ride on the Rubicon and in Moab! That's the reason for me and my wife to build the 4Runner (yes, my wife also works on her rig!!) I don't have good pics of the Runner yet but I will start to do some during the conversion!
Hopefully you are satisfied with my introduction!
Best wishes,
Marc
