hi all; i was reading on another site andit said that the a- trac system is already installed on all fjs, it said it uses the componants of the vsc system and all you need to make it work is the switch to activate it. can someone let me know if this is true. thanks; nsross1

It is true, its pre-wired, buy a switch and plug and play ..

If you have a 4WD then yes...
It's only prewired for the A-trac switch if the FJ came with the rear locker.
Ah, yes. Forgot about that, has to be equipped w\ the factory locking rear differential.

great! thanks everyone.i do have the four wheel drive with the locking rear diff. so for the price of a switch you can have the atrac. bet toyota doesnt tell many people about that. and again thanks for everones response..
