Hi All,

A quick note to introduce myself.
I got a 1997 80-series Land Cruiser. Looking to learn more about it and what suspension setup.
Has no flares and no running boards.

From what I was told by the previous owner:
It has 3" Dobinson lift with OME shocks. The way it sits right now, the front is lower than the rear.
I need to crawl under the truck to see what kind of springs it has. Hopefully the spring has come kind of marking or tags.
Ideally, I would rather lower the rear to match the front.

Right now, I would like to find stock running boards.

I would like to install Slee/White Knuckle slider in the future.
And maybe front ARB bumper.

Looking forward to learn more about this truck.

Thank you,
Daniel

Welcome. Any pics?
Stinkbug is common, its to compensate for the weight of a swing out bumper assuming it has no swingout. You can also add pucks to the front to level it to the rear.

Welcome, might want to also check out the local club (WA- North Sound Cruisers - https://forum.ih8mud.com/forums/wa-north-sound-cruisers.161/) most of the stuff they do is North of Seattle. The South Sound group is here but not that active. Depending on where you actually live either would work.

Also, if you are not mechanically inclined or have limited tools and need a shop @torfab is just North of Seattle. They specialize in LandCruisers and are a great bunch of guys and have fair pricing, not to mention they do fast but professional work.

Also, photos or it doesn't count.

I am actually in Everett area.
Working on getting pictures once it is clean up.

I found out a little bit about the suspension.
It actually has OME front and rear shocks.
The springs has marking of OME-851X on the front and OME-860X on the rear.

Welcome there is a Seattlecruiserheads group but not on mud. They still use google groups or to a lesser extent their facebook group. Never really understood why they haven't made a mud clubhouse yet. Still a great group of guys and gals to grab a brew with or hit a trail.

So, always think that the left is lower than the right.
Did some measurement, from bottom to the arch (no flares).

LF 37" RF 38"

LR 39" RR 40"

Read somewhere about switching left to right coil springs? That will take care of the left and right difference.
Front OME-851X
Rear OME-860X

Any suggestions?

OME is the problem.....
In all seriousness I have heard the same thing as well but my Dobinson sits level
