So for the New Year's Day trail therapy I'm in so is Dwayne and Jeff. Now everyone sit down. Nick traded his FJ in for a 2007 mustang gt. And he will be out there as well. We put spacers on the front and rear suspension so he can clear 31's and get through most of the park. :). Obviously just kidding on the spacers part but not the mustang part........

I am in for the 3rd. I get off at 8:00 that morning so I while probably be a little bit behind. I will have everything I need with me so I can head straight from work.

Any Trail/Ride Reports from the prospective off-road sites for the upcoming weekend? My neighbor at the lake keeps sending me pics of all the flooding we are experiencing down there so it makes me question Pottawatomie at the least. I have not wheeled there but with the level of rain and temps forecast above freezing it may be a bit wet. From the vids of Pottawatomie I've watched it looks to be a very mud-happy environment without the record rainfall they recently received. We've wheeled at KS Rocks but not after the rain and not sure how much they received in that area.

Anyway, if any of you have updates on trail conditions please post up. Mitch had enough MUD for a lifetime at Tuttle this year.

And just to clarify, we are still planning Pottawatomie for Saturday the 2nd, right?

I saw Sammy today and if the overnight cold holds it should provide a good crust for Potawatomi on Saturday. No low enough areas for flooding. Should be able to avoid deep mud stuff but could be greasy on top if temps rise. We will keep an eye on forecast but I will be trailering down early and most likely wheel regardless if anyone else comes out. I will not wheel alone there.

KS Rocks has one area with deep stuff to avoid when really wet. I don't know enough about the area to know if flooding will be an issue. Unless I break something bad Sat I will be back for Sunday at KS Rocks.

Glad to see this thread resurface... I had a little hitch in my giddy-up for weekend wheeling plans. I stumbled into a couple tickets to the Chief's game with my family to kick off the new year so I'll have to be out on this weekend. That said, I'm up for a dry/warmer weekend in the next couple weeks or months. One of my coworker's boyfriends has a Rubicon that he's trying to build and wants to get out there. I figure I (and whoever would like to join) could show him around KS Rocks and also what he's missing with the 80 series.

I hope y'all have fun out there this weekend - I wish I could join you guys. As far as KS Rocks... it can be wet and muddy out there but you can bypass any mud pits like Dave and Mitch got into at Tuttle.

Hey Rob, I'm still in for Fulton on Saturday (as long as Rach is feeling well...she's having a tougher time with morning sickness this go around but is doing better). What time are you wanting to head out?

Pottowhatama has some big mud holes and some slick hills. Don't know if the creek will be full? The park is not in a low-lying area in general I hope to meet you all at the gate. We'll see how the new 315 KO'2 do.

Looking forward to seeing you Dave!

You too Mad Man! And I've got 315's now but went with KO2's. Tired of my sidewalls getting sliced up.

@FZJ80 in KC I will be in mid-missouri already on Friday. It's a good 2.5 hours from KC. I will convoy back with you and have trailer for just in case

I got a few spare parts plus access to a garage to get you home. Also a spare vehicle if need it to be.

I went out today to Fulton and everything is a go!

Oh, gotcha!

Okay no worries. Are we shooting for 9 am at the park entrance?

I briefly met a guy with a green Tacoma who may meet us at the gate too. Tony or Troy?
