I've daily driven a 100-series for almost ten years now, six of those years with my '07 LX. I've maintained it to a like-new standard and so even with 350k miles it still drives like new. No leaks, no noises, no rust.

I see 200-series prices falling and am getting a little tempted, especially for the 2016+ LX models with the more modern interior. I'm also tempted by the rapidly depreciating Rivian R1Ts.

Anyone else in a similar spot? What's a high mileage '07 LX worth these days?

Following. I'm in a similar boat. Either I refresh the suspension or get a 200 MY '16 or so.

I’d estimate about $8-10k based on what I’ve seen on Bring a Trailer auctions recently. I saw a ‘06 w/ 233k miles and noticeable underbody surface rust go for almost $13k on there.

I also saw a 18k mile ‘06 go for $120k on there not too long ago lol.

If it were me and I had great maintenance records, I’d shoot to sell for $13k and be alright if I’m talked down to 10k

Edit: btw I’m assuming you’ve got some rust being in MA. If no rust somehow, then stick to your guns above $10k imo. I may be delusional though, idk haha

Zero rust, truly! Was originally a north carolina truck and has gotten professionally oil sprayed every year it's been up north

Nice! Coincidentally enough, I lived in MA for two years and I’m vacationing in North Carolina right now (Outer Banks).

Anyways, good luck on the decision and sale if it goes that way! Happy Holidays as well.

The 570 especially the last iteration is better in all aspects; engine, transmission, tech, interior and suspension. That said your 07LX is the most sought after MY for the 100 series and out of all MY it having the 5-speed and vvti. Try to test drive one and see if it sings to you. I came from a 100 series 2005LC turbo diesel to a 2013LC twin turbo v8 diesel and then back to a 100 series 06LX. Again the 200 series is fundamentally better in all aspects, except for one thing only: Character. Keep your VVTi 100 and get a 200. As the saying goes, the only thing better than a Land Cruiser are two Land Cruisers. Cheers.
