Fenders needed a bit of rust repair. Stupid thin metal so I decided composite repairs and bonding them in with epoxy would be easier and better.

Put aluminum tape on, waxed the tape and laid up fiberglass cloth and epoxy or carbon fiber and epoxy. Depending on how much contour there was. FG is way easier to manipulate than CF.

Few more, bonded with thickened epoxy with milled fiberglass.

Front end assembly time has arrived.

It lives and works great, love it, so simple and a blast to drive!

Latest is mpg… it’s getting 22 mpg combined. Lots to of fun, pulls very well!
