91-92' FJ80's are the best "bang for the buck" cruisers out there IMHO Clean truck.

Whats up with the volt meter reading so high (interior pic)? I have a second, digital volt meter in mine and at that point that your needle is positioned it would read well beyond 14.7 volts, the highest mine has recorded. I had a regulator go bad in an alternator once from a previous car. It was overcharging the system. The dash lights were so bright they were blinding at night. I'd get a multimeter in there and test it.
Good too know, I have a 91 and was wondering if I need to fix u joint or not?Clunking is "normal" on a 91-92. I'm not saying you *don't* have a bad u-joint or other issue, but even with all components up to snuff it'll still clunk.
