Nope. I live on the NE side, and am very much not a blonde girl.:D

Ha ha. I figured not. Yeah we gave each other the nod. Quite pretty. :) Figured I'd better not say she was attractive lest she was your significant other. :) I work at Johnny Carinno's for now till I finish up Mechanical drafting school.

Are you doing drafting at the tech school? I worked with several WTC AutoCAD graduates in a former job, seems like it is a really good program. I'm a project engineer at Hawker-Beechcraft.

Wow. Yeah, I am. I had a buddy go through it and he really seemed to enjoy it. He is a project manager for, I think, Lee Products. Mostly plane interiors if I remember correctly. I have really learned to enjoy computers, though I still have a bit of a knack for crashing them on a semi regular basis. :) Ha ha. Oh well... I'll grow out of that I'm sure. My dads got an old V-tail. I wish he would have kept his Hughes 500 heli around till I got old enough to fly, but... he sold ages ago. All fixed wing now. Mostly sailplanes.

Small world. I did contract work for Lee Products. Was it Nick?

91-92' FJ80's are the best "bang for the buck" cruisers out there IMHO Clean truck.

I absolutely agree. For my purposes it was perfect, and I spent less for my nice example than a ragged-out FZJ80. I know that lockers and the 1FZ are important to some people, but for my purposes it wasn't worth spending the extra money.

Nice Landcruiser. I like the paint and it looks clean in and out. Enjoy it. I've been riding my new to me one since I got it. My Son asked why I quit driving my truck?

Nice ride. A great old school color combo.

Whats up with the volt meter reading so high (interior pic)? I have a second, digital volt meter in mine and at that point that your needle is positioned it would read well beyond 14.7 volts, the highest mine has recorded. I had a regulator go bad in an alternator once from a previous car. It was overcharging the system. The dash lights were so bright they were blinding at night. I'd get a multimeter in there and test it.

It would be nice if the factory one had numbers so I could know these things. Thanks for the heads up, I'll double check it with a multimeter. All electrics seem to be operating properly, maybe it's just an errant gauge?

Clunking is "normal" on a 91-92. I'm not saying you *don't* have a bad u-joint or other issue, but even with all components up to snuff it'll still clunk.

Welcome,

Curtis
Good too know, I have a 91 and was wondering if I need to fix u joint or not?
