a buddy of mine decided he had purchased one too many project 'cruisers. so i have a project now 8).

1969 fj55, seems to be pretty stock aside from the roof rack. this truck was used as a hunting rig for a long time it looks like.

the carb is a 1975 rochester according to its serial numbers. the wheels are tacoma issue steel wheels.

ill attach some pics as soon as i figure out the details on how.

Looking forward to seeing another 69 Pig--Great to have you!!

Edit...checked out your album photo...helluva rear bumper. You got rear window glass? Dave

where are you? Was that the one in Missoula? I think I've got a rear glass.

san antonio texas, pm me about that glass if you want to sell.

probably not, shipping glass is iffy. I thought if you were close to me it would work out.

 https://forum.ih8mud.com/fj55-iron-pig-preservation-society/175834-rear-window-replacement.html

"Can send you the measurements of the one I have spare; I think it will be easier to have a local shop cut new glass then to ship one and then you don't have to worry about a shipping company break it. Local shop can do it cheaply usually. A general glass shop that handles cars as well is best...not someone who is focussed only on auto glass (less $$$ anyway) "

As best as I can tell the glass is flat and square! Should be o-k to get replacement at a glass shop."

Or:

"Following the old carpenters rule (measure twice cut once---usually get that backwards) on my spare in the rafters from a 7/70: length (as yours) 43 3/16 inch. width (dif) 18 1/16 inch: Thicknes 0.211 inch/5.37 mm.

Now on my 7/75 the PO for some reason has a double pane (?????) at 0.268 inches/ 6.28 mm. Kind of academic I'd guess- though the window on the 7/75 kicks some speed going down and drags a nominal amount up.

And flat (did not run a straight edge on it though) edges beveled, corners moderately rounded (of course). "
