Stoked to finally have my own Yota truck! Looking for like-minded ppl and fun trails in the Ohio/Kentucky/Indiana areas. Give me a shout if you know any good spots!

Congrats! I have a 2013. Let the mods begin!

There is something called the Kentucky Adventure Tour or Trail etc. A guy on YT "Sir William Goes" is recording his run of that trail and it looks fun. It is tentatively on my list after a few parts of the TransAmerica Trail are under my belt.

Cheers.

just found out about this! Looks rad. I'm going to do sections of it for sure this fall

Parts look super over grown in the videos. To the point of ripping off roof mounted add-ons. I'm fine with pinstriping, but wholesale damage is not in the cards.

Get GaiaGPS and download some GPX files for it. You can also use it to search for tracks others have made in your area. Totally worth the cost for the premium version.

Cincinnati here. Congrats on the purchase.

The FB event says October, which is better given the temperature and camping comfort. Is that correct?

Im interested! Not sure I can swing it so being only 2 weeks out unfortunately. How often do you guys do stuff like this? Also if my GX is stock will I be alright?

Ohio does not have a lot of place. Kentucky are the best since it's country road and not an off road park.

We are planning to hit the mild stuff. Most got some kind of lift but not heavily modified. We are not planning to take any hard trails.

Just realized I'll be in Chicago that weekend for work :/ Maybe next time! How can I find out the next time you guys are doing something like this?

We will try to extend the invite any time we plan to go. Join GXOR-OH and GXOR-KY too for more local event.
I wish the gxor-oh ky was open like the main page. I can’t see any events posted over there because of no FB. I know others hate the open pages. If you can try to remember to post stuff on mud either here or in the OH section down below that would be great.

sorry to op for the off topic in your thread

I will try to cross post here.
I don't like FB either for privacy concerns but finding organized trips by multiple small groups are really eazy on FB and you don't have to use real name and friend work or school colleagues there. I use my FB strictly for hobby stuff and try to protect my privacy as much as I can.

Are you interested in October 8th trip? We are planning to meet around Lexington and then drive to the trail head.
