New to ih8mud

Hello folks, joining yet another forum, but according to some I'm missing a lot by not being on this one.

Had my FJC about a year now and slowly been making some upgrades. Have OME lift, ARB bumber, Warn 9.5xp, AllPro lower and upper control arms, skids by Bud Built. Soon to have sliders by CORE 4WD. More to come, I'm sure.

Also, have a 73 FJ40 mostly trailered these days. Details are over on the FJ40 tech pages...

Glad to be here and should me posting a few comments now and then.

Fran we keep crossing paths. I to have a 73 FJ40, but I am in Hampton(okay not currently, but I'll be back in mid May). I think I bumped into your boys at American Powerhouse Offroad a time or two. Nice FJC! There are a couple tidewater area guys here with FJC's and FJ's. It's too bad the local TLCA chapter kinda fizzled out. There seems to be a growing group of Yotas in the area. One of these days we'll end up on a trail at the same time. 07TEQ on the board here has a really nice FJC. IPOR build body protection, lifted, etc... I am sure he would be up for a trail run as well. He frequently brings it up to Crozet.

I was expecting to hear from a few locals... ha. It would be nice to gather up the remainder of the local TLCA chapter and start up again. I made the last meeting or so when they closed down a few years back. It would be fun.

Next wheeling trip for me should be Big Dogs Icebreaker at the end of the month with the FJ40.
