Think they're tryin' to rent a crane to mount my spare tire tomorrow. :grinpimp:

Only three more available shop days before I take deliv'ry ...

2 thumbs...always great spectating your projects.

We knew you'd like the Road Armor on the front bumper!! We know that "Chrome will get you home!!"

When I seen the pic I knew you were laughin' when you took it. :flipoff2:

That is a fact Jack!

Thanks gentlemen. My mind's a dangerous thang.

Meanwhile ... just another day at the office for Vince. No pressure. No pressure at all. :grinpimp:

Trimmed a lil' off the frame. Maybe stock bumper mounts?? Maybe for tire clearance?? No matter ... need all the weight savin's I can get.

Vince has a bracket fetish. He dreams of 'em at night.

But they sure turn out purdy.

Which is a damned good thang when your starin' at 'em right in front of you on the dash. :bounce2::clap::bounce2:

Slick job on the mountin' studs.

Y'all know the drill by now. Here we go ...

Can't wait to see the control panel with gauges and switches.

And now your wait is over my friend.

This unit is slicker than goose s***. A sweepin' gauge on each side from 0 on up to 100 psi for the air bag on that side of the truck. The top of the triangle toggle puts air into both bags. The bottom corners of the triangle deflate the bag on that side of the truck. Complete in-cab control with one elegant gauge unit. Excellent. Most excellent in fact. :bounce2::cheers::bounce2:

The knob on the lower right corner of the new control panel is the adjustment knob for the custom tuner on the engine. The young fella that done the engine work just had it draped over the steerin' column 'cuz he didn't wanna drill no holes in the pristine dash. Vince ... on the other hand ... has no such concerns. And I'm damned glad we waited for Vince. :grinpimp:

The entire panel replaces the now defunct, bull**** rotary knob that used to shift the stock transfer case.

I'm regurgitatin' this ol' pic of the shifter install cuz in the lefthand side of the pic you can see the incredible wirin' job on the trailer brake controller that came in the truck. Amazin' how s***ty this is considerin' how immaculate the rest of the truck is. :meh:

... and the unit itself looks older than me.

Here it is side-by-each with the new Tekonsha Prodigy P3 unit that replaces it and the clean, new install.

Hope it comes with a manual.:lol:

So I go to check in on the ol' forum this mornin' and what do I see?

A big banner ad 'cross the top of the page for coolcruisers.com featurin' a very scantily clad young lady.

Reckon they must pay more money than I do. :meh:

:flamingo:

More than likely....

There was progress today, just a bunch of wiring stuffs for me and the new guy Steven was busy bouncing all over the truck tightening things and fitting the spare and bike carrier.

I'll get the pics up in the morning from today.
