One of the concerns of air bags is over-extendin' the damned thangs.

So here's Vince's answer with some sexy adjustable straps.

This rig's got massive torque.

She's got super low gears.

And she's got springs on top of the axle.

That all adds up to some serious potential spring wrap.:eek:

Gonna need us a traction bar By Gawd.

Nice check writing sir!

Without a doubt this one's puttin' a hurtin' on me.

Helps with my diet tho since I can't afford food right now. :grinpimp:

Seriously tho, good to see you back chasing the dream!

Thanks Mike ... and I'm gettin' close By Gawd!!

Here's a lil' proof ...

SOME SUPER BONUS COVERAGE

While Vince is slavin' away on Phase 1, the fine Folks at Hallmark out on the plains of Colorado are workin' away on Phase 2.

This first pic is as if you're standin' in the doorway and lookin' into the camper at the pasenger side.

Closest to ya is where the s***ter's goin'. The low spot is where your feet go sittin' at the dinette. Furthest away will be the main part of the bench for the dinette. You can see the water tank underneath the seat.

This shot's lookin' at the driver's side cabinets with the camper door bein' off to the left. The picture don't do justice to the beauty of the balsa wood though. The big hole is for my bad-ass compressor fridge. Although it looks like there's gonna be a lotta storage ... don't be fooled. By the time they add in the water heater, propane bottle, furnace, etc. there ain't all that much. That's why I went with an extended cab truck. :meh:

The countertop will be cut out later to fit my super sexy flush-mount sink and stove.

Can also see a coupla AC outlets if shorepower is available and a coupla DC outlets powered by the solar panels on the roof.

This last shot shows the outside from the viewpoint of the driver's side rear.

Easy to see the composite panels on the bottom. Once the cabinetry is all done, they add on the composite sides. It's a fascinatin' process that's very, very strong. This is NOT a camper with a wood frame and sidin' added. It's a composite camper with wood interior cabinet frames. Coulda framed the cabinets with aluminum or more composite but the wood is actu'ly best for this since it holds a screw better than the aluminum or composite options. All the structural integrity comes from the outer composite sides. The camper will actu'ly flex. Check out their website for some real good info and video links on the construction and camper details.

A lotta research went into this decision and, in my humble opinion, this camper is the best option for off-road use. But reckon we'll see ... sure gonna put 'er to the test. :grinpimp:
