Why are some pictures tiny with a link you have to click to see them. Of note, @wngrog pics are always little.

I detest the links that generate when you upload the pictures via Mud. It downsizes to nothing and it makes you open a separate link per picture. Awful

Is anyone in chat or the feedback thread telling Woody in a constructive way that the attachments suck ass? I hate to pile on without knowing if it is being addressed

From reading many of Woody's posts, the mobile app is not a priority. He's pushing using your mobile browser since the new site is supposed to auto-scale to whatever platform you view it from. I've noticed on the iPhone some menu options don't appear in portrait mode, but when your rotate to landscape mode the menus are visible. I use the Chrome browser on my iOS devices because it syncs with my desktop bookmarks. I don't know if Safari does that between desktop and mobile. If you had bookmarks in your mobile Safari, they all need to be updated as the URL has changed for everything.

Images...the attachment button is missing from the formating menu. Its now at the bottom next to the submit button.

Also, kind of cool is that I started the above post on my desktop browser. Then I pulled up this thread on my phone and a draft of the above post was already there. So I finished the post on my phone. Not sure how practical that is, but it is cool.

If I want to insert an image all I see is the "upload a file" button to the right of the "post reply" button

Yes. If you are on your phone, then click that button. Then you click Choose file. Your phone's browser may likely seek permission to access your photos, if this is the first time. Your phone prompts you with Take Photo/Video or Choose Existing.

If you want to use an image link (from another site) then click on the photo icon in the menu bar or the film icon for a Youtube link. FYI, you don't have to edit down the Youtube or Vimeo URLs anymore. Just paste the whole URL into the MUD link window and it will parse it automatically.

I got all that. In the old system and on mobile the pics would embed when you uploaded then off the phone. Now you get a image that opens up on a new page to view it.
