New Shoes for the 100

I cranked my torsion bars for about an inch more lift up front (and a leveled out look).

Then, after much consideration, I decided to go ahead with the Goodyear Duratracs (285/75/16).

Pretty happy with the outcome, just hope I don't blow out those 2 ply sidewalls .

Now I'm ready for this weekend and all that snow!!!

I like my Duratracs on my Xterra...million times better than the BFGs that came on it.

Yeah... I had my heart set on a set of BFG's, but then I had read a bunch of poor reviews lately in the 100 section of MUD (something about compound changes in the tire rubber???).

So after much more research, I think I've got the tire that will best suit my needs.

They look pretty cool too.

I got rid of my bfg at's when they started cracking all over. I loved those tires but that disappointed me. Those tires look great on that 100 series. It's the same tire the toy tech guys have on there fj and I think they have done well.
