Hello, I need to relocate my license plate to the bumper since I use a spare tire holder which covers it. I bought a license plate holder with 2 LED lights that are powered by 12V. I am thinking about splicing the cables to rear drivers side lover tail gate light. From what I read the positive should be green wire and negative / ground should be white with black stripe. Can I do it like this without any other mods? Or do you have any better ideas how to do it? Thank you.
