just wanted to say hello to everyone , i am new here and recently fell back in love with the pigs as you call them, my uncle had one when i was a young boy and i loved it and now i am looking to get into the pig thing!
i live in Massachusetts and anyone local please send a hello email and introduce yourself
I am looking to maybe get my first pig this summer and will be reading up on them here- thanks for reading and any help i will be asking for in the future

Welcome :) Pigs are a very rare, very different type of vehicle. If you want to stand out and be different, drive a pig.
 
Hey! I'm in MA and own a Pig. Don't know of any other running Pig's in MA but a mint one has been spotted occasionally driving on Rte 128.

Kina at North Country Land Cruisers in NH would be the best local source for parts as he has about 4 junk pigs at his shop.

I wouldn't buy a pig from anywhere near New England. Look out west. Mine was from TX. It'll save you tons of time down the road.

I kinda figured there would be nothing around here thanks to our great winters and salty roads and salty air
i figure the more i spend on a 55 up front should save loads of time and work on the back end
i'm hoping to find a 55 that has been started by a enthusiast and is now getting out of the pigs-anyway when i find one i will likely be bothering you for advice- thanks again

might be tough finding a pig in that situation..... i think pig ownership is like a terminal illness, the only way out of is death :P

I'd get mo pics of the rockers, rear q's, floors, underbelly, lower tailgate area, engine comp #'s and then commence the negotiations. It appears to have some dentage on the pass side, but dents are preferred over rust.
