So are you looking for a 100 in the States then?
Get tan.
Correction, it'll have HALF of a grey interior.
FYI, you should have no trouble ordering parts from a Toyota dealership for a 100 series LC in Canada. Obviously they are available from Lexus as 470 parts, but a Toyota dealer should be able to look up the 100 series LC parts and order them (possibly cheaper than Lexus parts too, depending on the dealer).
If you need any help in the Ottawa/Gatineau area, feel free to PM me. Your build sounds really cool!
The only issues he would run into are parts for his hd engine. No toyota dealers around here or in canada can order parts for the LC diesels, as far as I know. Maybe if you have a really good dealer, they'll order the part from Toyota Japan and have it shipped to you. All other parts can be interchanged between the LX and the LC. (other than the tail and head lights obviously)

Agreed, engine parts will be harder to source. The only issues he would run into are parts for his hd engine. I'm only mentioning it because if he gets a LC and ends up needing a body panel due to damage gonna need to fill the holes somehow (not hard for a bodyshop, but increases costs). Or would need to order the panel from here(USA).
Hood, front bumper, grille, headlight filler trim and obviously headlights are different along with the lower tailgate, I THINK the upper one is the same, dont quote me though. Rear tail light wiring is also different, as the LX has the reverse wiring going into the tailgate, while the LC keeps them outboard.
Parking lights are the same shape and design( the LC has a dual filament bulb while the LX just has a small 5w park light) and the shape of all the other panels that were not mentioned above are the same shape, however the LX variant has extra square holes in the them to fit up the plastic cladding.
All good info to have on hand when you start to cut things up and have a truck that isnt native to your locale.
Well, I have a few questions, and I'll start with the most important one...will you be making popcorn and selling tickets for some local guys to come and enjoy watching the work being done?![]()
