I had a shop put in a Flowmaster 70 series and remove the resonator from my Lexie. The stock Y pipe was also eliminated (which is an abomination, extremely restrictive). I had the pipe turned downward just behind the wheel to eliminate the possibility of crushing it. Again. Sounds awesome, no drone, just a mellow reminder that there are eight cylinders under the hood. At freeway speeds it cannot be heard unless I downshift to pass or climb a hill.

Pictures of the new system?

Installed a Northeastern exhaust bought from UPSW auto parts ($200 delivered) today after my 4 year old bosal rotted out (not a salty environment either). Lined up perfectly, was able to install it solo in about 15 mins. Can't yet speak for longevity but it's stainless vs aluminized so hopefully holds up for >4yrs. Test drove and it's whisper quiet. I did notice the 2-pipes-into-1 connection just before entering the muffler is a bit more restricted -i.e. smaller diameter- than the bosal but didn't notice any power loss or other symptoms so...

I got the same one put on today, fits really well and the pipes seem thick, not like the Walker brand one, that falls apart after a year. That thing is thin as aluminum foil, this one is stainless steel and should last. Great deal

Boise Muffler installed an AP Parts 7479 muffler for $346. They noted a ticking noise upon start up and said I should replace my passenger side exhaust manifold for $938. My 2005 is quieter now than it has been in the last 6 years.

looks great!

Does anyone have the part numbers for the OEM exhaust gaskets? I'd like to use the OEM over the ones that come with this.

FRONTS X 2 = 90917-06046
REAR = 17451-50050

This is for my '99 LX470 but assume would be the same for the land cruiser and just the gaskets used to replace muffler.
