Well the fzj80 is sold to the brother and I got it's replacment sat. it is a 84,
mods.
ifs box
high steer
front axle moved forward 2 inches do to rear leafs up front
5.29 welded rear, open front
stock 22R 5 speed 145k, new timing chain and head gasket,
37x12.5x15 irocs
I'm sure I'll think of somemore later.

I was thinking that was stock, never even looked that close at the body mounts, just looked for rust real quick. Now I will have to check it out after work.

How much room should be between the body and frame?

Those pics don't really tell the story. The giveaway that you have a small body lift is the gap between the front bumper and the bottom of the grille. Look at the body mount bolts for the cab, there should be 6 of them. There will probably be some sort of puck between the bottom of the cab and the top of the mount on the frame.

A small body mount isn't necessarily bad, I have a 1" on mine, it really helped when I mounted the sliders to the side frame rails. My front bumper is custom made for this mild body lift so the gap isn't there.
