Welcome Ty from a fellow Rebel.

Be careful! There are a few rowdy Bulldogs around!

Do you still have those 3rd row seats??

Welcome......GREAT group of folks.

I have since moved about a year ago but I see these fellows about every other month at events.

Oh yea.....the whole bulldog vs rebel thing-I have no clue.....I move so much I just watched the bickering & drank a beer:meh:

awsome. Come on down.

Just so yall know, this fella has a lift to put on his 80. He got quoted a bunch of dough to do it in oxtard. I told him we would do it for beer and pizza. Let's set a date!

Hotty Toddy!

YES! Another Rebel Fan within our mists!

Graduate of Accounting 1998.

Beer, pizza and lifting another 80 count me in.

haha, ty for the welcomes

and, no, the 3rd row seats arrived at someone's home in portland orgegon today...

Sorry about that.

The 'lift' i have is the OME stock replacement set of springs.
I was a lil too scared to get the 2.5" springs. I know alot of pple run it without the castor correction but, I will have to be doing alot of driving, etc. and will need my LC to be as safe, reliable, etc as possible.

Plus, I have an odd feeling that with the 2.5" springs I would want to run 35" tires, which cost alot more than 33's. haha and I am sure the expenses will pile on no matter what I do though.

And, for the rebel/bulldog drama....I got a degree at USM too in hattiesburg...ha

but, my older bro, and my sis-in-law went to MSU...but, I just can't get into the whole 'bulldog' thing...ugh..

see you guys soon....I was gonna come down this weekend but, there is a school function friday that I cannot miss...so I will plan another.

I also saw the blue angels post on here for the show in March.

Wife and I are from meridian and we were talking about going to that show in march so we could see some family, etc....so, if anyone is going let me know and may can do lunch or something

As long as we can listen to "Hail State" while we do it!

Go Dawgs!

I am running the 5" comp lift from OME with a 30mm front spacer and towering over 35's on my daily driver. The only concern I have is driveline noise, crappy fuel mileage and a lot of sway in the rear at highway speed(haven't extended rear swaybar links yet so no rear swaybar for now until I can get my hands on a welder). If you want 35's I have a set of 35x12.5 16 Thornbirds at the shop you can have for $450.

ok...so hows about this..?

IF I were to make it to jackson on saturday - who would be willing to work for pizza and beer for a bit??

If anyone would, I could provide vast amts of both, eh?

Plus, where can we do it? I have a garage there, I can provide some nice tools, a floor jack, but no jack stands...I can prob get a spring compresser too.

This should be easy nuff' - not technically a lift, but, my springs are sagging about 0.5" lower than stock measurements, blah blah...

so - any takers? lol

and, for the 35" thornbirds....I love those tires but, I doubt I could/would stuff 35s under the stock setup...

as it stands ATM, I am leaning toward some 285\75 Nitto's..they about 32.8" tall...

thanks, guys

Adam,

One of our members happens to own a tire shop, he will be more than happy to sell you some tires when you are down.

He will also lets us use his shop for a wrenching get-together just like what you need. A lift, some air tools, and a big space make this job easy as pie.

Problem is, he's out of the country right now. Can you hold off another week or so, then bring it back up? He will chime in, I'm sure.

yeah, i can wait...it is np. :)

I just have alot of crap to do when school gets to crankin hard..but, maybe during spring break.

ty again

I'm back!

No problem opening the shop up for a new member and I need to sell you some tires to pay down the old Master Card.
We just need to coordinate what weekend, who can be there to help and make sure you got the parts you need. I'm here every weekend from now till the last weekend in Feb. March is going to be real hard I am going to be out of town 4 of the 5 weekends.

Welcome to the club. It's a good thing your going to drug store school cause some of this bunch likes drugs :grinpimp: and they will help you spend way to much of that drug store $$$$$$$ on your 80.
Hell they may make you buy 40 just so you can be cool like some of them. They are so cool.:flipoff2:

Can't wait to meet you.

I like pizza. I like beer, but I LOVE selling tires!:D
