New LC owner have maintenance questions

just bought a 2015 LC its due for an oil change, ran amsoil on my 03 4runner. any suggestions?

I run Mobil 1 because it's good quality and (relatively) cheap in the 5qt containers at the Wal-Mart. Honestly the 3UR would be good for 500k+ on dino juice if changed regularly. No need for special oil.

There's nothing wrong at all with Amsoil. I think it's a great brand and a quality product. I just don't think there's value added by spending the extra for motor oil in a motor that has made it to a million miles in a Tundra without any special fluids. I run a factory filter and change every 5K along with a tire rotation.

Doing a good, complete job on all the preventative maintenance on your new-to-you LC is far more important than brand of oil. There are a number of good threads on here with PM info and be sure to look through the forum FAQs for the wisdom of those who have gone before.
